October Baby (2011) Best Drama Movie Download Free Online

October Baby is a 2012 American Christian-themed dramatic film directed by Andrew and Jon Erwin and starring Rachel Hendrix in her film debut. It is the story of a young woman named Hannah, who learns that she was almost aborted as a baby in the womb. She then embarks upon a road trip to understand the circumstances of her birth.

Plot of October Baby (2011)

Hannah (Rachel Hendrix) is a 19-year-old college freshman who suffers from epilepsy, asthma and depression. On the verge of her theatrical debut in a university play, she suddenly collapses on stage. After a variety of tests, Hannah meets with her parents (John Schneider and Jennifer Price) and a doctor from the hospital where her father works. The doctor quotes passages from Hannah's journal that reveal that she has been feeling lost and unwanted. In the heated exchange that ensues, she learns not only that she is adopted, but that her biological mother had tried to abort her.

Hannah experiences a range of emotions from confusion, to anger, to desperation and seeks out her best friend, Jason (Jason Burkey), for advice. After sorting through her feelings and her options with Jason, she decides to find her birth mother. Jason invites her to go on a trip for spring break with a group of his friends who are going to New Orleans, Louisiana. Hannah's father, Jacob Lawson forbids her to go, because of her illness. He says he trusts her to make the right decision, regardless of his opinion. Hannah decides to go because she says she wants," answers to all these questions about who she is. " She sets out on a journey that leads her to her birthplace, Mobile, Alabama. While staying at a hotel overnight, Jason's girlfriend Alanna( Colleen Trusler) says some hurtful things to Hannah, who eventually leaves when told that Alanna and Jason didn't want her to come on the trip. Jason decides to help her find the hospital where she was born. Upon arriving, they find it is been vacant for years and is locked up. Hannah pries the back door open and her and Jason are arrested. The kind sheriff, however, allows them to go when she tells him her reason for trying to get in. He gives her the name and address of the nurse who signed her birth certificate. She locates the nurse (Jasmine Guy) who assisted in the abortion, and they have an emotional encounter while the nurse describes the circumstances behind not only her birth, but that of her twin brother, whom she knew nothing about. She leaves the nurse's apartment knowing not only the new (changed) name of her birth mother but where she works.

When she finally meets her biological mother (Shari Rigby), she is overwhelmed with feelings of rejection, anger and hatred by her mother's rejection. Just then, her father arrives to take her home, when he finds she lied to him about being with others beside Jason and also that she had checked in with her doctor while traveling. Also, from Jason's girlfriend, he discovers their arrest for breaking and entering. He also tells Jason he is not permitted to visit, call, or interact with Hannah, because he had lied about what they were doing. Jason returns to the hotel where the rest of the college friends are staying. He breaks up with his girlfriend, Alanna, after she apologizes for her cruel actions, and returns home. He then calls Dr. Lawson( Hannah's father) and says he's sorry for lying and will no longer be seeing Hannah.

Hannah's birth parents also go through their own pain and suffering, deciding to tell Hannah the details of their choice to adopt both her and her brother - her brother dying just months later. Her mother( Jennifer Price) also relates to her the fact that they'd been pregnant with twins and lost them at 24 weeks. They'd then seen an adoption request for Hannah and her brother at a pregnancy crisis center where Grace( Jennifer Price) had volunteered.

Hannah wanders aimlessly until she sees a Catholic church and goes in. She seeks consolation from a priest (Rodney Clark). He says to her: "Because we have been forgiven by God, we should forgive each other. In Jesus, you are forgiven, and, because you are forgiven, you have the power to forgive, to choose to forgive. Let it go. Hatred is a burden you no longer need to carry. Only in forgiveness can you be free, Hannah—forgiveness that is well beyond your grasp, or mine, a forgiveness that you can’t find on a trip or even in this cathedral. But, if the Son shall set you free, you will be free indeed."× Hannah experiences an epiphany and finds she is able to forgive her biological mother and forget about the botched abortion. Jason takes Hannah back to the theater where she'd collapsed and says they should finish the play together. Hannah begins to realize he wants to be much more than a friend and starts to fall in love. The movie ends with them leaving to go to their college dorms. Hannah hugs both her parents and then runs back into her father's arms [[John Schneider ]and thanks him for wanting her, when no one else did. She is last seen smiling proudly at him and holding Jason's hand with a overwhelming grateful look at her dad.

The Deep Blue Sea (2011), a Romantic Drama Full Download Free

The Deep Blue Sea is a British drama film directed by Terence Davies and starring Rachel Weisz, Tom Hiddleston and Simon Russell Beale. It is an adaptation of the 1952 Terence Rattigan play The Deep Blue Sea about the wife of a Judge who engages in an affair with a former RAF pilot. This film version is funded by the UK Film Council and Film4, produced by Sean O'Connor and Kate Ogborn. Filming began in late 2010 and it was released in the UK in 2011, the year of Terence Rattigan's centenary. It was released in the United States in 2012 by distributor Music Box Films

Plot of The Deep Blue Sea (2011)

Set 'around 1950', The Deep Blue Sea tells the story of Hester Collyer, the younger wife of High Court judge Sir William Collyer, who has embarked on a passionate affair with Freddie Page, a handsome young former RAF pilot troubled by his memories of the Second World War. Freddie throws Hester's life in turmoil, as their erotic relationship leaves her emotionally stranded and physically isolated. For Freddie, that tumultuous mix of fear and excitement that was once in his life seems to be no longer missing.

The majority of the film takes place during one day in Hester's flat, a day on which she has decided to commit suicide. Her attempt fails and as she recovers, the story of her affair and her married life is played out in a mosaic of short and sporadic flashbacks. We soon discover the constraints of Hester's comfortable marriage, which is affectionate but without sexual passion.
As Hester's affair is discovered she leaves her life of comparative luxury and moves into a small dingy London flat with Freddie. Hester's new lover has awakened her sexuality, but the reckless, thrill-seeking Freddie can never give her the love and stability that her husband gave her. Yet to return to a life without passion would be unbearable. The film takes its title from her dilemma of being caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea.

Plot of The Raid: Redemption (2011)

Early in the morning, Rama, an expectant father and rookie officer, and a 20-man Detachment 88 special police squad led by Sergeant Jaka and Lieutenant Wahyu, arrive at an apartment block in Jakarta's slums undetected. It is run by Tama Riyada, a crime lord, who is the target of the task force. While detaining various tenants of the apartment, the team eventually detains a man who is delivering medicine to his sick wife in room 726. However, before the team enters the apartment, he escapes. The team infiltrates the apartment block floor by floor until they reach the sixth floor. However, the team is seen by a young lookout, who raises the alarm before he is shot and killed.

Tama calls in reinforcements, who systematically take out a majority of the police and regain control of most of the building. Tama turns off the power to the building's central stairwell. He announces over the building's PA system that the police are trapped on the sixth floor and he will grant free permanent residence to those who kill the intruders. In the darkness, the team is soon ambushed by shooters from above, as well as others who flank them from behind. During the battle, Jaka learns from Wahyu that the mission isn't sanctioned by the force, meaning nobody knows their location and they can't call for backup. The team backs into an empty apartment from the stairwell, where Bowo is shot and injured. They narrowly escape after Rama improvises an explosion that kills the pursuing tenants. With more antagonists approaching, the team is forced to split into two groups covertly; Jaka, Wahyu, and Dagu retreat to the fifth floor, while Rama and Bowo ascend to the seventh.

The Hunger Games (2012) Movie To Download Full Free

The Hunger Games is a 2012 American science fiction film directed by Gary Ross, based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. The film was produced by Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik, with a screenplay by Ross, Collins, and Billy Ray. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, and Donald Sutherland.

The story takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic future in the nation of Panem, where boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 must participate in the Hunger Games, a televised annual event in which the "tributes" are required to fight to the death until there is one remaining victor. The protagonist, Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence), volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the games. Joined by her district's male tribute Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson), Katniss travels to the Capitol to train for the Hunger Games under the guidance of former victor Haymitch Abernathy (Harrelson).

The film was released on March 21, 2012, in France and in the US on March 23, 2012, in both conventional theaters and digital IMAX theaters. Japan received it last, on September 28. When the film released, it set records for opening day ($67.3 million) and opening weekend for a non-sequel. At the time of its release, the film's opening weekend gross ($152.5 million) was the third-largest of any movie in North America. It is the first film since Avatar to remain in first place at the North American box office for four consecutive weekends. The movie was a massive box-office success by grossing $685 million worldwide against its budget of $78 million. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 18, 2012.

The Hunger Games received positive reviews, with praise for its themes and messages, as well as Lawrence's performance as Katniss. Like the novel, the film has attracted criticism for its similarities to other works, such as the Japanese novel Battle Royale, its film adaptation, and the Shirley Jackson short story "The Lottery." Collins' novel and screenplay draw on sources of inspiration such as the myth of Theseus, Roman gladiatorial games, reality television, and the desensitization of viewers to media coverage of real-life tragedy and war, not to think as just an audience member, "Because those are real people on the screen, and they’re not going away when the commercials start to roll."

Plot of The Hunger Games (2012)

The nation of Panem consists of a wealthy Capitol and twelve poorer districts. As punishment for a past rebellion, each district must provide a boy and girl ("tributes") between the ages of 12 and 18 selected by lottery (the "Reaping") for the annual Hunger Games. The tributes must fight to the death in an arena and the sole survivor is rewarded with fame and wealth. In her first Reaping, 12-year-old Primrose Everdeen is chosen from District 12. Her older sister Katniss volunteers to take her place. Peeta Mellark, a baker's son who once gave Katniss bread when she was starving, is the other District 12 tribute.

Katniss and Peeta are taken to the Capitol, accompanied by their frequently drunk mentor and past victor, Haymitch Abernathy. He warns them about the "Career" tributes who train intensively at special academies and almost always win.

During a TV interview with Caesar Flickerman, Peeta unexpectedly reveals his love for Katniss. She is outraged, believing it to be a ploy to gain audience support, as "sponsors" may provide in-Games gifts of food, medicine and tools. However, she discovers Peeta meant what he said.

The televised Games begin with half of the tributes killed in the first few minutes; Katniss barely survives ignoring Haymitch's advice to run away from the melee over the tempting supplies and weapons strewn in front of a structure called the Cornucopia. Peeta forms an uneasy alliance with the four Careers. A few nights in, there's a fire made by the Gamemakers, and Katniss runs to a stream. The Careers later find Katniss and corner her up a tree. Rue, hiding in a nearby tree, draws her attention to a deadly tracker jacker nest. Katniss drops it on her sleeping besiegers. They all scatter, except for Glimmer, who is killed by the insects. Hallucinating due to tracker jacker venom, Katniss is warned to run away by Peeta. Rue cares for Katniss until she recovers.

Meanwhile, the alliance has gathered up all the supplies. Katniss has Rue draw them off, then destroys the stockpile by setting off the mines planted around it. Furious, Cato kills the boy assigned to guard it. Katniss frees Rue from a trap, then dodges a spear thrown by Marvel; it strikes Rue. Katniss kills Marvel, then comforts the dying Rue with a song. Afterward, she gathers and arranges flowers around the body. When this is televised, it sparks a riot in Rue's District 11. Panem President Snow summons Seneca Crane, the Gamemaker, to express his displeasure at the way the Games are turning out.

Since Katniss and Peeta have been portrayed as "star-crossed lovers", Haymitch convinces Crane to make a rule change to avoid further unrest. It is announced that tributes from the same district can win as a pair. Upon hearing this, Katniss searches for Peeta and finds him with an infected sword wound in the leg. She pretends to be deeply in love with him and gains a sponsor's gift of soup. An announcer proclaims a feast, where the thing each survivor needs most will be provided. Peeta begs her not to risk getting him medicine. Katniss promises not to go, but after he falls asleep, she heads to the feast. Clove ambushes her, pins her, and gloats. Thresh, the other District 11 tribute, kills Clove after overhearing her tormenting Katniss about killing Rue. He spares Katniss in Rue's memory. The medicine works, keeping Peeta mobile.

Foxface, the girl from District 5, dies from eating nightlock berries she stole from Peeta; neither knew they are poisonous. Without warning, Crane darkens the arena and unleashes a pack of hound-like creatures to speed things up. They kill Thresh. Katniss and Peeta flee to the roof of the Cornucopia, where they have to fight Cato. Katniss wounds Cato with an arrow and Peeta hurls him to the creatures below. Katniss shoots Cato to spare him a prolonged death. With Peeta and Katniss apparently victorious, the rule change allowing two winners is suddenly revoked. Peeta tells Katniss to shoot him. Instead, she gives him half of the nightlock. Before they can commit suicide, they are hastily proclaimed the victors of the 74th Hunger Games.

Haymitch warns Katniss that she has made powerful enemies with her display of defiance. She and Peeta return home, while Crane is locked in a room with a bowl of nightlock berries, and President Snow ponders the situation
